As an institution of the Town of Phippsburg, the Library gets most of its financial support from taxpayers. But the Library couldn’t exist without the active support of its volunteers, and financial or in-kind donations of goods and services from individual donors or the Friends of the Totman Library help enrich our collection and keep us getting better.
Here’s how you can help:
Send a donation
Send your tax-deductible donation to:
Albert F. Totman Library
28 Parker Head Road
Phippsburg ME 04562
Volunteers are indispensable to the Totman Library operation. They staff the Font Desk, keep the shelves stocked and organized and answer all the patron questions. Others serve on the Board of Trustees, help organize and run Library programs or contribute their time and skills to maintain the Library physical plant.
If you would like to contribute as a volunteer, Download Volunteer Application, complete and mail or bring it to the Library. Your help is very much appreciated!
Join the Friends of the Totman Library
Friends is a community group with the mission of supporting the Library through community fund raisers, such as wine tastings, silent auctions, raffles and other means. For more information on Friends, contact Judy Mullins 389-2401 who will answer your questions and put you in touch with the group.
Located downstairs off the non-fiction room, visit “Basement Books” and give a home to a book that has been donated to the Library or retired from circulation. The books are available for a donation, which can be made at the Front Desk.
